Enlightened Educators originated from the visionary mind of Dr. Timothy Heath M.D., an internist affiliated with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, who possessed a deep enthusiasm for education. During his regular rounds, a resident brought up a straightforward yet thought-provoking question: "Why can't we transform certain learning materials into the engaging format of games?"
Dr. Heath promptly brushed aside the idea, deeming it impossible. Nevertheless, the notion refused to relent. What if there existed a method to incorporate essential medical knowledge that requires memorization into a game-like format? Could such an approach be successful? And if it could, what form would it take?
