Enlightened Educators emerged from the innovative vision of Dr. Timothy Heath M.D., an internist affiliated with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, who had a profound passion for education. During his regular rounds, a resident posed a simple yet thought-provoking question: "Why can't we transform certain learning materials into engaging educational games for healthcare?"
Initially, Dr. Heath dismissed the idea as impossible. However, the concept lingered in his mind. What if there was a way to incorporate essential medical knowledge into a game format? Could this approach be effective? And if so, what design would it take to create effective medical knowledge games and medical learning tools?
